A fantastic ultrawidegame monitoris the 34-inch Acer Nitro XV340CK. Due to the reduced input lag and high refresh rate, it isoffersa fantastic gaming experience that feels fast and fluid. Fast moving content looks sharp due to the excellent response time and it has an optional black frame insertion feature to further improve motion clarity. To reduce screen tearing, FreeSync is natively supported and works in conjunction with NVIDIA's G-SYNC. It even offers a picture-in-picture mode that lets you display two input sources simultaneously thanks to its ultra-wide width, giving you plenty of screen real estate for multitasking.

Unfortunately, it doesn't get extremely bright, so visibility can be an issue in well-lit environments. Furthermore, although it supports HDR, the HDR experience is below average due to its inability to display a wide range of colors. The XV340CK is great if you're looking for an all-rounder. The 144Hz refresh rate makes your gaming experience smoother, while the ultra-wide screen enhances immersion in a player's adventures and boosts productivity. Furthermore, the 1440p resolution and IPS panel ensure that the visual quality is also very good.

Teste Acer Nitro XV340CK: Design

The Acer Nitro XV340CK brings to the fore the traditional "Series XV" design cues that, unsurprisingly, we've seen in other panels in the family. HeMonitorit has a slim profile, which certainly adds to the panel's premium look. An almost borderless design, made possible by thin bezels, reinforces the immersion of this screen as a whole.

The Acer logo is centered on the bottom bezel, which is the largest of the four. Users can see a small blue LED on the right side of the monitor when it is turned on. The circular base of the mount offers good stability, although it is not as effective as the "V" alternatives. A small cable management system is also included in the form of a small red hook at the base of the stand.

Acer Nitro XV340CK review: screen

The Acer Nitro XV340CK's 34-inch flat IPS display has a resolution of 3440 x 1440, a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz and an accelerated response time of 1 ms. As with other IPS panels, the backlight is limited to 250 cd/m², but the contrast is specified at 1000:1. While it doesn't support DisplayHDR, this model does support HDR10, allowing it to accept HDR inputs and convert them as accurately as possible.

The Acer Nitro XV340CK's UW-QHD screen stands out in all respects for its pixel density and the space it offers.gamesthat support native ultra-wide resolution appear crisp and spacious, giving you more room for your workflow andForms. Even when scaling is not used, the text is not overly miniaturized, so most people will have no trouble reading and navigating.

Acer Nitro XV340CK Review: Features

Despite the inevitable Nitro-level sacrifices, this is primarily a gaming monitor and the specs are good. While the display's 34-inch IPS panel is a good start, it's somewhat limited by its 250 cd/m2 peak brightness (see MoreAswhich actually appears below). HDR10 is also in the works. However, on paper it regains credibility by supporting a resolution of 3440 x 1440p with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Solid, if not spectacular or super fast, but once again we're on budget. With two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort ports, oneheadphonesjot, twoUSBPorts and an upstream USB port provide plenty of connection options.

Teste Acer Nitro XV340CK: RGB-Blitz

For most gaming needs, the Acer Nitro XV340CK's 99% sRGB gamma output is sufficient. With an average deltaE of 2.98, the color accuracy isn't the best, but it's good enough for gaming and everyday use. Despite being HDR10 compatible, the Acer Nitro XV340CK is not DCI-P3 compatible, which affects its HDR performance.

Controls are located on the bottom right back of the monitor. In addition to the power button, there are four other buttons for operating the on-screen menu.

Acer Nitro XV340CK reviews: refresh rate

With our RX 6800graphic chartconnected via HDMI, we tested the VRR again. We found that FreeSync works with HDMI over the full range of refresh rates, but only with the newest ones.graphics cardsand not with the elderly. An excellent refresh rate of the 34-inch Acer Nitro XV340CK Pbmiipphzx ensures smooth and responsive gaming experience. With the latest Radeon graphics cards, it works with DisplayPort and HDMI and reduces screen tearing with native FreeSync and G-SYNC support. A power cycle is required to reset the monitor when FreeSync causes the screen to flicker off on older GPUs over HDMI.

Acer Nitro XV340CK Review: Connectivity

As usual, the cables go in vertically and the inputs are on the back of the monitor. There are plenty of USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a 3.5mm audio-out jack between the inputs. For most users, this is more than enough inbound support. With the PIP/PBP function, you can connect many different devices and use them at the same time by segmenting the screen.

Acer Nitro XV340CK Review: Performance

Just 4ms of input lag on the Acer XV340CKP results in an imperceptible delay between your actions and the output on the screen. The specified GtG response time of 4 ms does not correspond to typical pixel response time, but to the fastest pixel transition between two gray levels. As a result, you'll notice some lag in relation to moving objects, but unless you're an intense competitor or a hardcore FPS player, this isn't an issue. In that case, you should still buy a 1080p 240Hz monitor.

The MPRT number you can get by enabling VRB (Visual Reaction Boost).Technologyis understood with the specified response time of 1ms. To further reduce lag time in fast-paced games, VRB turns the backlight on at a specific refresh rate (80Hz, 100Hz, or 120Hz). However, image brightness is sacrificed and VRB cannot be used simultaneously with FreeSync. You should use VRB at 100Hz or 120Hz to avoid double frames, but for optimal performance you should also keep a constant 100 FPS or 120 FPS as needed. We recommend using FreeSync.
